About Ride for Climate USA
Our mission is to raise awareness of the global problem of climate change, encourage action and promote solutions. Many solutions are available to develop clean & safe energy, become more energy efficient, and to create good jobs and a healthy environment. We believe that the U.S. should act now.
We (David Kroodsma and Bill Bradlee) begin our U.S. journey on April 21, 2007. This journey begins after David finishes his 15,000 mile bicycle tour to the tip of South America – Ride for Climate: The Americas. We’ll bicycle from Boston to New York City and then west through Chicago to Seattle and down to San Francisco. With enough interest and funds we will then continue down the Pacific coast and along the southern portion of the United States and up the Atlantic coast to complete the loop to Boston.
We will be giving presentations along the way to discuss the problem of climate change and the many solutions that are available now. We’ll also be talking with reporters about the journey and working to publish articles along the route.
