David Kroodsma Portrait

This trip highlighted the international effects of global warming, and David appeared in the media and talked at schools througout 16 countries, and you can read more about it at his website Ride for Climate: The Americas. Prior to this, David was employed by the Carnegie Institution of Washington's Department of Global Ecology, where he worked on the Jasper Ridge Global Change Experiment, which attempts to discern the effects of climate change on grassland ecosystems in California. Before working for the Carnegie Institute, David attended Stanford University, where he studied physics as an undergraduate and received his Master's in Earth Systems for studying climate change and, in particular, how carbon dioxide cycles through the biosphere.
